We are currently recruiting new members. If you're 18–27, based in or around Ibadan, and ready to commit we'd love to meet you.

What membership means

A global network, built city by city

The Global Shapers Community is a World Economic Forum initiative connecting young, city-based leaders across the world who are working to leave a lasting, positive mark on the places they call home. Shapers are self-starters people already finding ways to show up for their communities who gain access to a global network and, at times, a platform to represent the voice of young people at World Economic Forum events.

Here in Ibadan, that looks like regular Hub meetings, hands-on projects, and community events run by members, for members. Everyone is expected to attend meetings consistently and take part in at least one Hub project each year. We're building a community that reflects the full diversity of Ibadan itself every background, field and perspective welcome.

Selection is competitive and includes a screening and interview stage, in line with our Hub Charter. If membership isn't the right fit right now, we still want you around reach out to us at globalshapersibadan@gmail.com about volunteering with the Hub instead.
